After years of struggling to keep his practice afloat, Dr. James Ochi made the difficult decision to close his doors. Patient health plans simply weren’t covering his business expenses.

"You’re basically paying thousands of dollars every month to see patients," he says. "That was a devastating time for me and my family. It was very humiliating."
