MORE THAN ONE MILLION HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS GET FINANCIAL EDUCATION THROUGH DAVE RAMSEY’S FOUNDATIONS IN PERSONAL FINANCE COURSE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — More than one million high school students have taken Dave Ramsey’s Foundations in Personal Finance course nationwide. Ramsey offers Foundations in Personal Finance for high school students to learn more about how to better manage their finances and build wealth so they can have a solid financial future.

“I love this curriculum,” said Dr. Carrie DeZutter, teacher at Riverview High School in Sarasota, Fla. “The program catches and holds the attention of our young people through real-life connections. Foundations in Personal Finance has been updated for the spring 2014 semester with all new material, statistics and case studies. Using the same concepts that are found in his books Financial Peace Revisited and The Total Money Makeover, Ramsey tailors the lessons to students by using fun, easy to understand methods. The class is taught on DVD by Ramsey and his daughter, Rachel Cruze. Updated student workbooks, a new teacher’s guide and a blended learning site will help teachers and students work through the course in an easy to use, interactive way. The updated curriculum also features four new chapters on going to college debt-free, careers, giving, and a history of personal finance.
